About Me

Welcome!

My name is Chelsea and I am so glad you're here! I married my college sweetheart, Matt, and we have 3 little ones, including twins and a goofball who came along right behind them. Life with this crowd is a wild and crazy adventure, for sure!

I adore my family; they make me laugh every day and are a constant reminder of Jesus' unconditional love and grace over me.

I began Chelsea's Garage in 2010 because I am so passionate about creating beautiful pieces of furniture from forgotten ones and believe everyone should have the opportunity to decorate according to their vision and style, regardless of budget. By working and selling from home I am able to maintain modest prices as well as enjoy the opportunity to do something I love while staying with my loves, (my kids). 

My style is classic with an edgy twist, and I am always seeking ways to throw in a dash of primitive and industrial!

This blog is where I share fun finds, DIY projects and tutorials,  furniture transformations, and home decorating ideas.
